Tom Waddill

Tom Waddill jumped at the chance to join The Home Run Team. New to the real estate world at the time, Tom didn’t hesitate when asked to join forces with his mentors, Kevin Meine and Ryan Barker.

A Texas native, Tom has long called Huntsville home. He met his wife, Stephanie, after both of them graduated from Sam Houston State University. They’re having a blast raising Johnnie, their teenage son, in their favorite Texas town.

Tom spent more than 20 years in the newspaper business, writing, editing and taking pictures mostly in Huntsville, but also covering sports for a few years in El Campo and Bay City. He loved meeting new people — hearing, then telling their stories.

That’s what attracted him to the real estate business back in 2018. He got an opportunity daily to meet new people — people who needed help. 

Tom enjoys being able to successfully guide his “friends” through a transaction. He loves seeing folks smiling brightly after signing a stack of documents and taking the keys to their new home. He also enjoys being the guy who gives honest advice when a family needs it most.

Buying and selling property requires serious decisions, and Tom happily helps people make those decisions.

Away from work, Tom enjoys time with his big and beautiful family. Forever a baseball fan, Tom loves watching the Astros, Red Sox, SHSU Bearkats, New Waverly Bulldogs and Huntsville Hornets. He loves swinging the golf club and coaching youth sports. He’s a member of the Huntsville Lions Club and a Time2Read volunteer.
